In a glittering display of innovation and excellence, Waterfall City and its development partner Attacq have clinched prestigious awards at the African Property Awards. Held in London, the awards ceremony celebrated the continent’s most outstanding property developments.

Waterfall City has been crowned the Best Masterplan in South Africa for its visionary urban design framework. The award recognizes the meticulous planning and innovative thinking that have shaped this thriving smart city. The masterplan encompasses a wide range of uses, from residential and retail to commercial and leisure, creating a vibrant and sustainable community.

In addition to the masterplan accolade, Attacq’s Head Office in Waterfall City was honoured with the Best Office Interior in South Africa award. The office space, designed by Design Partners, showcases a modern and functional workspace that prioritizes employee well-being and productivity.

The African Property Awards are renowned for their rigorous judging process, involving a panel of industry experts who evaluate entries based on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and sustainability. Winning these awards is a testament to Waterfall City and Attacq’s commitment to excellence.

Willie Vos, CEO of Waterfall City Management Company, expressed his delight at the double win. “This recognition validates our efforts to create a place where people love to be,” he said. “We are proud to be at the forefront of urban development in South Africa.”

Jackie Van Niekerk, CEO of Attacq Limited, echoed Vos’ sentiments. “Our focus is on creating safe, sustainable spaces where people connect,” she said. “The Waterfall City development exemplifies our commitment to this vision.”

As Waterfall City continues to grow and evolve, these awards serve as a testament to its success and a beacon for future development in South Africa.
