Mining Indaba 2027 to focus on collaboration execution

Turning collaborations into action, Mining Indaba 2027 is expected to shift from collaboration alignment to execution.

Scheduled for 8th to the 11th of February 2027, under the theme: ‘Stronger Together: Partnerships in Pracitce’, marks the annual event’s move into a new chapter, the second of three.

The theme is coined after last year’s theme: Stronger Together: Partnerships in Pracitce.

Signaling intent to a shift away from working in silos and towards working together.

“From commitment to practice. This is our new theme – and our ongoing commitment to building success together,” said Industry Director, Laura Nicholson.

Meanwhile the Stronger Together: Partnerships in Practice theme challenges industry leaders, governments, investors, communities, downstream industrial buyers, innovators and the next generation of mining leaders to move beyond dialogue and embed collaboration into everyday decisions, investments and operations.

“When our voices align, progress moves from concept to action,” said Nicholson.
