JOHANNESBURG – May 25, 2022 – Exhibitors at this year’s upcoming Facilities Management Expo, a trade show aimed at bringing together the local facilities and property management sector, are putting final plans in place to wow visitors to the 2022 expo.

Facilities Management Expo 2022 will once again be co-located with Securex South Africa, the continent’s leading security trade show, and A-OSH Expo, focusing on occupational safety and health (OSH), as well as the new Firexpo South Africa 2022, which will bring the new dimension of fire and safety-related products and services into the fold.

Running from 31 May to 02 June 2022 at Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, attendance to all four shows – which will take place under one roof – is at no charge for interested visitors.

Broll brings the content and new products

Platinum sponsor, Broll (stand FG02), one of Africa’s leading commercial property services companies, is proud to announce that it will be launching a new product called DriWay, a masonry dehydration system to prevent or remove the effects of rising damp in building foundations and walls.

The organisation is also introducing Broll FM Intel Publications, including: The impacts of the Pandemic and Looking to the future with changes and Adaptations on FM Retail Environment during a Pandemic; Energy, Utilities and Environmental Management in a World of Facilities Management; Full Life Cycle and Business Intelligence supported by Integrated Technology Platforms and Data Hubs/Customer Interaction Centres; Why Asset Management and Full Life Cycle Management is important to the FM World/Environment; and Facilities Management Strategies within Public Sector vs Private Sector. Find out more about these exciting new initiatives by visiting the Broll stand.

The company is also the proud sponsor of the Broll Facilities Management Expo seminar theatre and will present information on several pressing topics within the sector.

Make a splash, with Healthy Splash

With sanitiser still very much in the spotlight, be sure to visit the Touchless Germcontrol stand (FD08) to find out more about the locally manufactured, SABS approved Healthy Splash sanitiser dispensers. Using the latest touchless technology, each and every part of the dispenser can be replaced, meaning that there’s no need to replace a complete dispenser. Healthy Splash is being used in more than 50 hospitals and in numerous well-known corporate buildings, as well as by leaders in the food industry’s buildings and warehouses. There are also many different options available, including wall mounted, table standing and floor standing.

Talk to outsourcing and energy experts at FM Solutions

FM Solutions will be available at Facilities Management Expo to guide visitors through its full spectrum of facilities management service offerings, including technical maintenance and energy efficiencies as well as to discuss the benefits of outsourcing these services. Visitors are invited to chat to experts from the organisation on related challenges, such as electricity supply challenges, solar power investment, and more!

Excellent course specials and competitions with Afroteq

Afroteq, a multi-disciplinary integrated company providing advisory and training services to the built environment sector, will be providing Facilities Management Expo attendees with some excellent show specials.

Afroteq OHS (stand FD15) is offering a free, high-level two-hour safety audit for companies – simply leave your business card or details at the stand (limited to the Gauteng and Cape Town regions). In addition, visitors to the Afroteq Academy stand (FD13) can quality for a 10 percent discount on all short courses offered, which are booked and paid for before the 30th of June 2022. Afroteq Academy will also be holding a lucky draw, giving away a free short course training for one person. Again, visitors are invited to hand in their business cards or details at the stand.

Win a free operational inspection with Cairnmead

Cairnmead Industrial Consultants, a company that provides clients with a unique consulting service in the health and safety discipline, assisting with the relevant, hands-on application of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and associated South African National Standards, will be holding an on-stand competition at Facilities Management Expo 2022. Visitors who have scanned the unique QR code at the Cairnmead stand, and signed up to receive the organisation’s newsletter, will go into a lucky draw to win a free operational inspection.

Ventria demonstrates life-saving products and services

As a provider of world-class Automated External Defibrillator (AED) products and services, Ventria has partnered with an emergency service provider, to demonstrate at the expo how to speed up the chain of survival in the event of a cardiac arrest by plugging its IoT platform into the emergency control room. This means that an emergency medical services (EMS) personnel member will contact you on removal of your AED to find out whether an ambulance is needed on premises.

The company has also recently launched LifeVac into the South African market, a choking emergency device designed to assist with removing airway obstructions when other methods fail. This critical device is being installed in restaurants, offices and homes globally.
